Dynamic IP vs Static IP

Static IP addressing is for one customer on one IP address and Dynamic IP addressing assigns a different IP address each time the customer logs on to their computer.

Both Dynamic IP and Static IP = Unique IP to all computers.

hi ate maud. im not really an expert on computer but here's what the computer lab technician said in our school taught me. yeah i interviewed him lol.
in a computer shop it's either you set ip dynamically or static ip. for static ip, if you have 5 computers you assign ip to them one by one. example:

computer 1 = 192.168.1.190
computer 2 = 192.168.1.191
computer 3 = 192.168.1.192
computer 4 = 192.168.1.193
computer 5 = 192.168.1.194

so yeah, still each computer has unique ip. correct me if i'm wrong, i mean if our comlab technician was wrong

yup it happened last year in korea thats why their ip is always lock or have passwords. They also have two prviders one for consumers one.for the offices to avoid snatching ip and hacking.
