taru ups: how to use?

Im wondering how to use this taru ups..
ex. taru luvati (all power converted to powerstrike)
      taru anahata (all power converted to heart)
     etc

I tried upgrading to my weapons and armor sets.. but it didnt work..

Ex: if you previously upgraded your item with any stat upgrading stone (heart inc, mental inc, fire attack rate inc, poison attack rate inc, etc.) then you use the taru upgrading stone, for example taru anahata, all previous stats upgrade of the item will be converted to heart.

I think it is easier to max a stat using this technique

No need any supporting stones

you can only use taru vishuda, anhata etc to your PANTS, BOOTS, CHARM, BELT & HELM only
while the taru elemental thing is for armor, gloves and weapon
