Laptop expert need advice here..

Your Processor is Haswell, it easily gets hot than other processor because its compact architecture design. However, your temperature is normal for this processor its way too far from
its Tj Max at 100 C (Tj Max is the maximum temp a processor can handle before it shuts down to prevent damage).
Besides, a laptop doesnt have a good cooling system so I can say your still good at this point..

you might wanna stress test your processor using prime95..
run it for atleast 1 hour if your pc shuts down or crash you have a problem..

prime95 is a software that test your processor's efficiency.. is uses all cores to a 100% load.. you can check it on youtube for further info..


well you can reduce.. but probably will diminish your laptop performance...

if its still under warranty you can give some test.. and if you find some issue you can bring it back to where you bought it and let them fix the issue.. this will prevent any future problems..

Yes, 1 hour is enough cuz your just testing the temp. Be sure to run core temp as well while running the test.. And monitor the temp of each core..

Yes, good job.... you still got about 20C to spare before you reach the thermal junction of your processor..

I think this is common among Haswell processors.. they get really hot especially on laptops..where there is less cooling efficiency .. even if you read reviews about it ..many dislikes it because of the heat it can output.. however its a very powerful and fast processor thats your upside...
