Here are some Xtrap errors found on google :
Found this on google, and thought it would handy to share in regards to debugging XTRAP problems. Search not only for the message code, but also the message, as there may be more than one error code associated with a problem.
What is Xtrap?
Xtrap is an Anti Hacking & Cheating tool used by various online games. It prevents players from tampering with with their client by scanning and restricting 3rd party programs and terminating the game client upon detection of such programs.
It scans for.
1. The user has modified game files
2. The user is running a 3rd party program that is not allowed
3. The user is modifying the program dynamically
Xtrap is notorious for being very sensitive about computer programs running in the background, and at times can mistake even the most basic of computer programs for 3rd party hacking tools.
Some common programs that interrupt Xtrap are.
1. Anti-virus programs that use SONAR or active background scanning
2. Internet security packages
3. Software for keyboards and mice, specifically LOGITECH
4. Multimedia software Itunes, WMP, Xfire, Steam overlay, Podcast, fraps
5. Torrent programs Utorrent bittorrent. etc.
6. Web cams and screen recorders.
Common tools used to fix Xtrap errors.
Alot of you will get Xtrap errors, some of these errors will be caused by viruses and spyware. Do a check anyway as i said earlier Xtrap is sensitive software and even these things hidden from you can cause Xtrap to error.
Error Codes - What they mean.
CODE FIELD [16-0400-00000000-202>
The game cannot run properly
You are running another program that conflicts with Xtrap xfire/podcast/fraps/torrents/itunes/WMP, etc. Turn off any unneeded background programs and try again.
CODE FIELD [02-0300-00000000-031>
Game must be run under the System Admin Account
This one should be obvious. You have to run under the administrative account on your computer otherwise this error will pop up.
CODE FIELD [13-0400-00000000-001>
The game client/launcher is running at compatible mode. Please, unselect the compatible mode.
This one is tricky, if you get this try another operating system after XP SP2 if you have no other options available to you you must remove the comparability
CODE FIELD [30-0400-00000000-207>
The Game execute file is not normal or an abnormal memory access has been detected.
This error usually pops up when you have a spyware or antivirus software running/scanning while trying to play GS.
CODE FIELD [02-0300-00000002-021>
Some functions provided by the operating system are not working properly by the external program.
Please close the program that prevents normal game play.
This normally means a program is running that is clashing with xTrap, however it can also be a service issue.
CODE FIELD [01-0300-00000000-031>
operating system is not supported
This normally pops up with pirated versions of windows. However this one I am not 100% sure on how to solve.
CODE FIELD [16-0400-00000000-200>
You may have tried to alter a game file that the client did not agree with. Try re-installing the game.
CODE FIELD [16-04000-00000000-201>
One of the files may have been corrupted, try uninstalling and re installing the game.
CODE FIELD [02-0400-00000000-053>
You are clearly trying to cheat if you get this error, close any and all cheating programs and try again..
CODE FIELD [01-0400-00000000-701>
The Security module cannot run properly
This error is caused by these programs, disabling them fixes this error.
- IObit Security 360
- Comodo
- Agnitium Outpost Firewall Pro
- ThreatFire
- Sunbelt
you are vulnerable when you do this so remember to turn them back on.
CODE FIELD [02-0300-00000424-502>
Some functions of the operating system are not working properly due to external program. Please, close any program which is affecting game client.
Turn off windows firewall and make sure you are logged in as an administrator
CODE FIELD [02-0300-00000000-211>
Device database of the operating system is not normal or the device name does not exist. Please restart the system
This error is caused by Xtrap detecting virtual drives on your system.
CODE FIELD [02-0400-00000000-530>
Some functions of the operating system are not working properly due to external program. please close any program which is affecting game client
Third-party programs such as NetLimiter cause this one.
CODE FIELD [05-0400-00000000-203>
Please close any program (auto, cheat, crack, debug program) and restart the system.
Your computer has a virus, please scan and remove it.
CODE FIELD [08-0400-00000000-509>
Some functions of the operating system has been corrupted. Please, close any program which is affecting the game client and restart the system
This error is commonly caused by Ati Tray Tools (or similar background programs that change the playingfield) which attempt to connect to GS. In Ati Tray Tool's case, it was the 'FPS Counter' which caused this error. XTrap flagged it as abnormal thus blocking GS from launching. Disabling this 'FPS Counter' feature was enough to stop the errors. But in other cases you might need to close the background/3rd party programs completely. some screen recorders and webcams cause this error as well.
CODE FIELD 08-0400-00000000-516
Some functions of the operating system has been corrupted. Please, close any program which is affecting the game client and restart the system
If you get this error, you are probably running windows XP without Service Pack 3 installed.
CODE FIELD 10-0300-00002EE7-200
The access to x-trap patch server is unstable or X-trap update wasnt able to run properly. Please, restart the game
Set your firewall and anti-virus to allow Xtrap through.
CODE FIELD 08-0400-00000000-517
Some functions of the operating system has been corrupted. Please, close any program which is affecting the game client and restart the system Close or uninstall all programs affecting the client.
Software like NetLimiter, antiviruses and recording programs cause disturbances.
CODE FIELD 10-0300-00002EFD-146
The access to x-trap patch server is unstable or X-trap update wasnt able to run properly. Please, restart the game
Once again, Anti-virus and firewall are blocking Xtrap.
CODE FIELD [02-0300-00000000-603>
Game cannot start due to insufficant resources please restart the system.
This one is easy, it just means your computer does not have enough memory to run GS, solution? restart your pc.
CODE FIELD [10-0300-80004004-104>
X-Trap engine update has been failed
Xtrap failed to update because it was blocked by your firewall or antivirus.
CODE FIELD [10-0400-000000000-015>
X-Trap file are not the latest version. the latest version files of X-Trap are needed."
move your xtrap folder to your desktop
run the game client again so xtrap and redownload
If the game runs delete the xtrap folder you moved onto your desktop
(other way is to uninstall, reinstall, restart and then patch)
